Harlech Castle

Harlech is situated on the west coast of Wales, about 10 miles north of Barmouth.
The castle has pay and display parking spaces.
If you like castles, you'll love Harlech, with its superb views and steeped in history.
Entrance fees are very reasonable, and the staff are more than helpful.
The town of Harlech has narrow streets, lots of local craft shops etc.
Local beaches are some of the best to be found in the uk.

Bwch yn Uchaf Caravan and Camping site
Located West of Bala on the A494,this quiet secluded campsite is friendly, and pleasant.
The Aran and Arenig Mountains overlook this part of the valley, the scenery is stunning.
If its fishing your after, then this site is well suited, with bala lake only 1 mile away,
and the many streams and rivers, are stocked with wild brown trout.

If your an amateur radio enthusiast, then this site has no objections to the use of radio or generators.
At the entrance to this site stands Llanuwchllyn station, the home of Bala Lake Railway

there's loads for the hiker as well ,Cader Idris is 15 miles away.
and the beaches are only 20 or so miles away at Barmouth, and Fairbourn.

Ffestiniog railway

World famous Ffestiniog railway is a must for all who visit this part of the Principality.
Prices are very reasonable, and the views are priceless.
And if your on holiday here and want to work on the railway as a volunteer...they are more than happy to welcome you.

GreenWood Forest Park
Greenwood forest park is a family park, with the main theme being FUN, FUN, and more FUN,
and the prices are very reasonable.
if you have a young family, then this is one of the better parks in north Wales.

Erddig Hall and Country Park
This beautifully restored family seat, of the YORKE'S, is one piece of treasure that you cannot miss.
Just a mile or so from Wrexham town centre, this jewel in the crown belonging to the National Trust,
will open your eyes with lots to see for the whole family, or just yourself.

Welsh Mountain Zoo
This is a must for all the family, situated just outside of Colwyn Bay, the zoo overlooks the bay .
theres an extensive play area for the kids,a cafe, toilets etc, with disabled access.

Denbigh Castle & Town
Now this is a nice quiet little town steeped in history, from the castle to the streets below.
The castle is more than reasonably priced, with lots of Welsh hospitality.

Seaqarium
Family fun and learning all in one, one of the better sea aquarium attraction in North Wales.
The prices are very reasonable with discounts for disabled people, and Senior citizens.

Anglesey Circuit
One for the motor enthusiast, this is one of the most attractive motoring events in the uk.
its got lots to offer for the 2 wheeled and the 4 wheeled fan.

Laugharne town
This south west Wales town which over looks the river Taf has a castle dating back to 1116 and was home to one
of Wales most famous sons Dylan Thomas.

The Boathouse, Dylans main home, now a museum.

Dylans most favourite pub, Browns Hotel.

Dylan Thomas' grave.
Dylan Thomas was born on October 17th 1914 in Swansea and died on November 9th 1953 in New York
